If you notice the rear wing is curved. The reason is that the air that passes over the roof tends to drop down further than the air that passes the sail panels. As the air passes the sail panels it wants to turn or twist as it hits the wing sooner than the air that come over the roof. For that reason the sides are shorter because they don't need to be as long. Remember on a slow car like this the wing is there to kill lift. On a much faster car they actually are looking for downforce. The wing makes the car look longer and more stable as it cuts through the air.
We want to eliminate the lift without creating drag. Unlike a top fuel or funny car we can't afford to give up any areo horsepower.
