If you pull the plastic out from under the front fenders, then pull the wires out of the door you can feed the bars out thru the hole that the wires ran thru the door. Just push it forward with the door closed and it will drop out under the front fender.
Or you have to cut them in two.

Do the fender route. Did that today with a friend. Much easier to do this way. 2 People helps. One to sit in the car and push, one to pull through the fender.

I hole saw the bottom corner of the door below the latching mechanism. Kinda hold the bar in the door and eyeball where it will fit through with the front of the bar up at the mirror, and the back of the bar angled down.
You can hole saw it low enough that you can't see it with the door open unless you're leaning down.
The whole deal take about 30 seconds if you have a hole saw kit..

For the back bolt 15mm offset wrench. For the 2 front 10mm bolts, flat stocs with 6 pt 10mm socket welded and ground down to break them loose. After that on can be had with a gear wrench anmd the other with an offset 10 mm.
All in all a pain in the ***. Getting them out through the wheel well takes about 15 min per side and does not require any cutting.

The down side, our cars are low to the ground and your door is about as strong as cheap fiber glass or a tin can and if you get a side impact and have no roll bar or cage I would be fairly secure in saying kiss your *** good bye when the other cars front bumper is 1/2 way to the passenger seat and your brain is now puddy on the front of their hood

In all honesty, I really don't think a piece of 1" steel tubing spanning the width of the door would make the difference of someone surviving and not surviving a side impact in our cars. Those bars really aren't that much when compared to a 4000+ lb vehicle.
