Help, backseat removal

I just unbolted my backseat and went to pull it out, but.. the seatbelts are still attached. The screws are a weird * star shape and I can't unscrew them. I just pulled my spare and jack out, I really want this seat out too, please help thanks

You need a torx bit set. Its a T40 or something like that I think.

I belive it is a T55.

Remove the seat and belts together. Thoes torx bolts use locktite and don't come out very easy. Plus the belts w/the ratcheting thing (don't know the proper name) are pretty heavy. No point in having seat belts if you have no rear seat.

most stores sell the bits you need to take them out... i believe you can get a whole set for like 5bucks?

Really? My torx bit set was $45. But those are the ones you fit on a socket. You better get a good grip on a single bit if you want to break the seat belts loose.
