first race on new engine... well tomorrow nite is the first nite of racing on the new engine. I am most worried about traction with my stock tires obviously. I have been kinda taking it easy the last 2 days on it never going over 4500 rpm's. I did get into it once with my wife and it appears traction will now be my utmost concern. On the stock tires and rims, what is the lowest and highest i should go for the track, also should i add or take away from the front tires also? i went thru old time tickets and seen other cars that were faster had traction problems, i'm just worried about breaking the rear end since this is my daily driver car...any advice will be tried tomorrow nite... 
Re: first race on new engine... on stock tires, i'd never go below like 26/27psi. just isn't worth it to run less, as you'll be running on the edges of the tires. as for the front, pump 'em up to 40psi it seems people say. it's over pressuring them so you are running on the middle of the tire as it balloons out. less rolling resistance. good luck though
Re: first race on new engine... You will be traction limited with the extra power.I think you will need DR's to hook[BFGs or Nittos].
