Idk if it is because of class racing, or if it just works out better for their setup, but the lower launch RPM, coupled with a fairly flash RPM, will help jerk the front end up easier. Think about it.... Footbrake to 3k, flash to 6k. Vs brake at 4500 and flash to 6k on the launch. There's not as much "snap" that way. Even with the sudden shock on the driveline from being "dropped" in to gear.

that's all i want is to get some air under the fronts lol. best 60 is 1.7 before all my weight reduction and suspension work. Think i could get some air with a good cam? Mods in sig for the TA

Nice! I just got word from Dave at Yank that my converter wasnt even starting to couple up till right when I was shifting, its going back to the track nxt wed after I had him tighten it up for me, car shoulda went low 10s high 9s
