I'm saying make something that works for folks who are 5'8 to like 6'2, that covers a lot of folks. Having like 3-4 different locations in the brackets. I hear you about the bar attaching the seat(s) to the crossbar, that's something also to look into.

Or you could make up a bracket and then let order folks order ones for shorter/taller folks as needed. I'm sure you could make it worth your while.

OK, Initial thoughts are this.

Platform that mounts to the rear two seat studs. It would have 4 sets of holes allowing for 4" or so of adjustment. For the cross bar (6Pt or 10Pt) a clamp on bracket with bushings to compensate for seat position.

What would you be willing to pay? We need to do the math to see if it is a project worth doing.

the only place ive seen selling brackets without seats (and i dont even know if kirkeys will fit in them) were somthing like 75-80 a side.....non sliding. obviously more for a crossbar bracket or slider option

With the back bracket Steve, a package deal? Cross bars might vary in mounted height, so would your bracket have some adjustability?

I think I'm gonna use one of those for the passenger side as I don't have a tab on the cage. Dunno if it can be used on the driver's seat.

I just made something out of some aluminum flat stock and bolted it to the seat and bar. I dunno how legal it is, but my seat is SOLID.

If you could combine those with a sliding seat it would work perfectly. I'm going to think of a way to do this.

We will be working on this. With the limited resources we have for R&D it will take a few weeks to get a prototype.

OK. If we did this and charged 70.00 for a seat mount that has 4 - 5 adjustment positions about 1" apart. You would need to move the bolt in the seat to relocate it. Offered a back brace that would easily adjust with the seat for 90.00.

Total for one seat would be 160.00. 2 Seat package deal 300.00

Who would be interested?

The floor mounts will work but will not pass tech without at least a roll bar. NHRA rules state that ANY aftermarket seat must be attached to the cross bar.
