Well not sure what my times are as of now but pretty much got the same setup as you with same problems

Bone stock I went to Bowling Green, KY (beechbend) and ran 13.62 @ 102.51.
I dynoed at 316rwhp and 348rwtq completely stock, A4 TA.

Later I added the following mods:
SLP Air Lid w/K & N Filter
SLP 85mm MAF
Smooth Bellows
Free ram Air mod
Tranny Cooler
TCI Super Streetfighter 3500 Stall
Hooker Cat-back
3.73 gears.

And still running the factory crappy tires. However with just the performance mods in place (before installing the gear/stall combo) I dynoed 301rwhp and 317rwtq. Was like WTF! Though mods were suppose to add power. . .not loose it.

Turns out according to the shop the Barometeric pressure was the problem as in April that, the humidity and temp was much calmer than was it was a few weeks ago when I had it dynoed again.

But currently when I punch it, it hits the rev limiter on every shift. I'm going back to the shop this Saturday to get it Dyno tuned with LS1 Edit and see what happens. I'll take her to the track that night and give a few more runs and post back my times.

btw we thought the MAF was the problem and removed it, installed the stock one back and the dyno numbers only got worse so we put the 85mm MAF back on.

Good luck either way. But for the rev limiter, I could be off but you may need to get your shift points modified. What they claim they will have to do with mine.

Raben - Actually in my last reply to this thread I said how when I took it to Speed Inc the shift points were wrong (which they now fixed) and the trans fluid was low which they also filled up again. But you are correct on what seemed to be the problem. Wasen't able to make it to the track on Tues, but hopefully I'll be going soon.

Well I took it to the track again this SAT morning with the exact same setup, but now with the fixed tuning by speed inc and I now ran 13.1 with 1.9 60ft. The RPM's no longer bounce and the car shifts on time, each time. It seemed like the track wasen't prepped that good, so I'm thinking I would have hit 13.0 or 12.9 with a better track. And I feel that once I put the 16's on and if I can cut a 1.7 60ft or better that it would put me at mid 12's.

So I guess I can live with 13.1 for right now since I have a full system, 2inch drop, and 18's. I'm gonna be picking up some lower control arms and throwing on the 16's for the next runs.

PSJ - Well looks like my MPH increased to 105 like you said you wanted to see, but I need to do better on the 60ft to get the 12.8. Oh yea you look like some actor, but I don't know his name lol.

13.1 @ 105 is more like it. I'm glad you got your problems resolved. Drop that 60' and get yourself into the 12's.

Some 16's all the way around on Nitto DR's will no doubt net you a solid high 12-second pass(12.7-12.8). Skinnies up front would help even more. And if you didn't have that extra weight in the car, well you get the point...

BTW, keep in mind your running smack dab in the middle of the summer, so expect your car's trap speed to pick up some come the cooler weather of the fall.

Glad Speed Inc got your car running right,

Mike

Hi Kevin...

(Always pick the best looking actor or I will have you disposed of)

Your car sounded pretty good going through the gears. If you took the spare, jack, your sub, and your amp I think you'd hit 107mph no problem.

Your car did not leave the line that hard. I think you could probably leave harder on non-drag radials...

I think you did pretty good for street tires. After I took the slicks off I tried making a few passes on my street tires (245/16s). My best pass was a 12.55 @ 113.95 w/only a 2.04 short time. Normally I can run bottom 12s w/1.8 sixtys.

Mad Ice it was good running ya at the track. My best run was a 13.2 with only a lid and a FTRA.

You always got a quick jump on me out of the hole but it stayed that way the whole way down the track. God I gotta get a converter!

I need to do more mods soon!

Not bad at all. I seem to have awesome reation time, ususally .580ish, my best was .505 (Even tho it does nothing for the ET, it decides which car will sometimes win). And yea once I can get better traction my 60ft will be down... and you won't be ridding my back bumper anymore .

Do you have lower control arm relocation brackets on since the 2 in drop was done?
I have the Eibach Pro kit (1.2 in) and the best 60 ft i could get on E/t streets before the relocation brackets was a 1.84 and with them on i ran 1.73's all day long at the CZ Nationals this weekend.
Just tryin to help ya out. Oh and in the heat i ran 12.77 @ 108 with a 1.73 60ft ,now i want skinnies and cooler air. Good luck.

Yes I do have the reloaction brackets. Put them on a week after dropping it. I will be getting a set of lower control arms tho to help the traction since I'm still on the stockers.
