Finally got the entire thing out. Boxed out around the spot welds then ground them down. Quick sprayed with primer.... cage install tomorrow!

 

Beautiful, my father just stopped by the shop where mine is being done and he said that it looks great. Hope the powdercoater is doing black at his shop so I can have it soon. I'll have to put up pictures of mine too! Guess you're not mounting the rear panels with a whole lot.

I drove mine to the shop with the back seat backing and the 2 rear panels and they didn't move w/o the seatbelt brackets installed so I assume that they shouldn't move much. I can't wait to see what yours looks like all done!

 

Thanks! I did however make a small hole that you can see in the pics. Nothing a quick weld cannot fix! So PAF had your car nearly completed in a week?

 

Tyson had my car done in a day. Being that I want it powdercoated, not just for the pretty color but because you're supposed to bring 4130 back up to temp for stress relieving as well. Thats where the wait is. He doesn't do powdercoating in house so I could have had a one day turn around if I wanted to rattle can it myself. Once I get it back I will take pictures and make a post about it either in appearance or the vert section.
