strapping down battery/required to race

strapping down battery/required to race I need to have my battery securley fastend/strapped down as a requirement to be able to drag race. I figure the only easiest way to do this is to disconnect the battery. My question is if I diconnect the battery will I get any funny codes or the radio not work or anything not work when I go to reconnect it?
