I talked to Chuck on Friday and then Steve today. These guys are pulling 18 hour days trying to get all the orders filled and shipped.
When I asked Steve about the Kirkey seat mounts, he told me they are determined to get all the bumper mounts completed and shipped PRIOR to starting anything else with the seat mounts.
Now, even though I really want a set of the seat mounts too....I gotta give them major props for wanting to be on top of everything they already have on their plates before taking any $$ or orders for anything else. Not many companies out there that behave this way.
Congrats to Chuck for kicking a$$ and working so hard on getting all his orders out to us, and thanks to Steve for putting up with my calls.
A1 business there guys.
THANKS

Nice, Looks like the same style bumper that the UMP Modified dirt cars run. My brother has a jig in the shop just for those. Un-painted or black would probably be the easiest route. No one will see it unless you are pulling the front cap off at the track.

Yeah, hopefully the camaro one is coming soon, im waiting to mount my FMIC until it gets here, will most likely have to weld another bar on it so i can just mount it on the bumper support itself. Sounds worth the wait though

I'm very happy with how mine came out. I used the urethane paint I painted my cage with on the support, not quite powdercoat but it's close, I can deal with how it looks on the cage, so a support that's hidden, I really can deal with it.
I weigh'd what I took off the car, my foglight brackets, the flap off the nose, the radiator ductwork and the top plastic piece and the metal bracket holding it to the hood latch, all that stuff total was 8 lbs, so the support that only weigh's 12 lbs was 4 lbs back into the nose, but now I have a good way to mount my fuel cell next season, and the nose is nice and solid so if I lean on it while I'm working on the car I don't feel like I'm gona rip the nose off anymore. And that 4 lbs, I'll get that and a TOn more back when I cut the cowl off and put a joe van o hood on next year. The mount will also provide a nice frame to put another piece of tubing on to attach the dzus fastners on when the hood goes on the car.
Definately worth it, and now when I pop the hood, there's a big gaping hold there LOL, I can almost stand inside the car

Camaro supports are set to ship in 2 weeks bare and 3 powdercoated. Provided we can keep help. I am going down on Friday to work with Chuck on these.
I hope I don't slow down the process. I can't weld well and won't be welding on any of yours. I can run the band saw and other odds and ends.
