Default Mounting the 5pt harness with the stock belts

How are you doing this?

I plan on keeping the OEM belts and just running that eye bolt through them and snapping the lap belts into the eyes when I go racing. Does that sound how others are doing it? With the hardware pictured below?

I was looking at getting a G-force harness and was told you could either tab the bar and bolt the shoulder straps to it OR just unwrap the hardware and wrap them around a rollbar. Sound about right?

I just want to make sure I get everything ordered in one shot. .

while an eye works good for the crotch strap, i really like the bars from wolfe.
clean install, and you dont have to drill any holes.

I got that wolfe bar your speaking of.

I was just wondering how to setup the lap belts. I only race the thing 3 weekends a year so I want to remove the lap belts when I am not at the track since there not DOT legal anyway.

I ordered the G-force stuff but the hardware pictured in my first post is backordered until may.

i know you're not supposed to, but I bent one of the tabs just a little bit for the mount that's to the right of your ***. the one by the door works well enough as it is now. I had to open up the hole in the brackets just a little bit for the stock T-47 headed bolt shank to go through. it works great.

I did just like you stated. I removed the stock seat belt bolts and bolted in the eye bolts. I mounted the stock lap belts to these and snap in the 3" lap belts. The 3" shoulder harness wrap around my Wolf bar. I even took the stock seat belt plastic guide and mounted it to my Kirkkey seat.
