Need tire advice.
I've been doing some research on which tires I should go with and keep coming up empty. My MT drag radials (255 50 16) are in need of replacement. As many of you may know, the MT drag radials have been on backorder for sometime now so, that option is out as I need something soon.
Here is my set-up, my car has a 402 making 520rwhp and 495rwtq, I recently converted it to an M6 and I have 4.10 gears. When I was at the track last night I was almost bouncing the limiter in 4th when I crossed the finish line. Someone recommended to me to go with a 28" tall tire to lower the RPMs some on the top end.
Here are the tires I'm considering so far:
M&H 275 55 16 Drag Radial
MT ET Street 28x11.5 16
MT Drag Radial 255 50 16 (if anyone knows where I can get some in stock)
I need something that is going to work well with the 6 speed and my combo, hook very well, and fit a factory 16" rim. Any suggestions?

Thanks guys. I orders some MT ET Streets 26x11.5 16s. After doing some more research, it looks like 28's would be too much tire for an NA application like mine. I figure on the top end, these 26's will balloon some and be closer to 27's. That should help lower my RPMs by a couple hundred at the finish line.
