Nice ride! Quick question.........What brand of tubular K member did you go with? I like the motor mount setup, height and location for the BBC. I saw some pic on LS1LT1.com. Is there any other mods to the suspension for the BBC other than the K member. I plan on doing a BB swap on a 94 z28 and needed some info.

What brand of headers are on the BBC? Are they for 97 f-body or something else?

i plan on using a BMR kmember but i think Spohn also has one for the BBC conversion.

and the headers are Hooker Headers 2455 i cant remember what car they are for but im thinking it may be a old chevelle like 70ish year model. google that number and it will show you what you need.

It's been sitting at the shop since I got tired of working on it and there has been no progress as far as I know. He's got a couple projects in front of mine, but hopefully he will be working on it soon. If not, I might trailer it back to my place and try to figure out why the BS3 won't read cranking RPM.

The crank trigger works, apparently BS3 is pretty picky about the voltage. It needs over 10 for it to read. When I start cranking it's over 10 but drops under and the RPM window in the dashboard stops reading. Everything is hooked up right, just need to verify oil pressure on a mechanical gauge and get a good charge in the battery and hopefully it will start soon.

Great project, nice job, cant wait till its up and running! Don't yank the motor out! It will be way more of a sleeper in the camaro than the truck!

Update for those subscribed. I got the car towed back from the shop after sitting for 9 months. Car was left outside and broken into, but nothing was taken since it appears to be a gutted stock car.

I pulled the engine out Sunday and cleaned it up as best I could. I'm going to pull the intake and heads just because of all the water stains, oxidation and leaves that were laying on the intake and in the engine bay. There are some other things I'm going to clean up and make sure al alright before I drop it in the truck.

I already have another 6 speed so both the WS6 and C10 will be 6 speeds. The WS6 is getting my old LT1 on the tubular k-member I already have since I can use the SBC/BBC mounts on the LT1. With the added clearance of the tubular k-member I'm looking into going TT.

BBC is going in the truck now and with the added room it will be N/A for a long time until I can afford to swap pistons to lower the compression. Truck will be kept in street trim and since the WS6 is already gutted it will be a drag car and sold eventually.

It did, but it doesn't look anything like the pictures anymore. Everything is covered in pollen and any areas exposed are rusted (grounds, cuts along the cowl, parts of the block) Plus there are a buch of dead leaves in the engine bay and some of the fuel lines look funny (white stuff on them).

Sorry to disappoint you. I was disappointed as well when my car sat at this guys shop for 9 months outside and was broken into. I would've definitely loved to have a one of a kind running car, but I was tired of waiting and can't tune a BS3 myself. As far as the condition of the truck, I would imagine it has rust in the rockers as most do, other than that it's clean.
