Default Which is better for me, 9.5" or 11"?

So I need new wheels, and I was wondering how much the rotating mass vs. amount of tread affects the ET and trap speeds. My plans are to have a 230 or bigger cam, decent heads, and a small shot of nitrous (probably 100, dry) within a couple of months. I figure I need tires first though, lol.. I'm looking at OEM ZR1 Replicas in black and I've decided on Nitto 555's up front with 555 DR's out back. Now I just need to decide what width I want the back wheels/tires.

I know rotating mass is a huge killer, but I have no idea how much of a difference it makes. I figure most of my racing is roll racing (40mph), so I guess that'd be the priority over ET's.

Will 315's be noticeably different than 275's? I don't like spinning on the highway with just bolt ons, and I can't imagine how bad it could be with a cam and nitrous. I want to be safe and hook, but I'm wondering if 315's would hurt me more than help me with my plans.

Thanks in advance!

The Nitto555R's arent the best tire for traction to begin with but for a car thats on the street alot they hold up better than most drag radials. The Replica wheels weigh more than the factory wheels.

If i were you I'd try to get factory wheels with ET streets for best traction. I like the ten spoke ss rims alot and they aren't too heavy for the street.

I went from aftermarket ZR1's and 315/35/17 MT ET Street DR's to stock '01-'02 OEM Speedlines with 275/40/17. My ET is about 3-4 mph better now and my 60' is about the same. For the dragstrip, the difference in rotating mass between the two wheels/tires made a big difference ... 11's with 315 was too much tire at my HP level (440RWHP/415RWTQ[A4]).

For the street, the wider tires with some Nitto's or BFG DR's are prob what you'd want ... my .02 cents.
