Default Help me gut my doors

Ok, I got both my door panels off and I'm looking to lose as much weight as I can. I already removed all the sound deadening stuff and I want to remove the impact bars, but how the hell do you get to this bolt way in there?

I was also thinking of cutting some parts out or swiss cheesing it. Which parts would you guys recommend that won't ruin anything structual like what holds the window motor.

Use the search there are specific posts telling you how to remove the door bars, as far of the rest of the door don't touch it, it is made out of composite and is very light to start with so cutting holes in composite to save 1 pound is stupid to have a swiss cheesed door. There are better way to remove weight, and places that will drop much more weight than the doors.

Look at the weight reduction sticky, think about mini tubbing and look into after market weight reduction parts like brakes and a-arm and k-members.
