My car will have a 10 point cage. My question is will it be easier to start from the back and work foward or from front to back. Also what color carpeting is in cars with ebony interior
Thanks

I started at the back because I sewed in a "boarder" just like the stock carpet has. Can't remember the exact color though, that was a while back.

Honestly, it didn't look good enough to suit me. Went back to a stock carpet.

i used the black....

started at the front and moved back. Mine is in 2 sections from fire wall to 1/4 way up the rear tubs then a second piece that covers the rest. this made it much easier to fit the carpet around the bars.

i took these before removing the old parking brake brackets and final fitment. I'm happy.

I have a roll of the black sitting a few feet away from me. It's definetly darker than the factory stuff, but it looks good.

The dark charcoal is almost exactly the same color as the ebony carpet that comes in the cars. First time I did my car I started in the front and worked my way back, but ended up seaming it alot on the rear seat area. This time I am going to start in the back, go as far as I can and cut the carpet off, then start in the front and work my way back, I think this will probably make the task alot easier

I started in the back. It is one piece but has a slit to fit it around the shifter and brackets. I had to seem some places near the console area.
