I heard all of the horror stories and decided that a couple of pounds wasn't worth looking at a totaled Camaro in my back yard + I got a slamm'n deal on a set of Pro Stars 2 3.5's and 2 10's for $250 ain't bad!

sorry to bring this thread back from the dead but i just picked up a set of bogart d10 skinnies and after reading through this thread i am concerned about running them all the time...my car is a weekend/strip car that i like to drive to the track (1 1/2hrs) and also like to drive spirited at times and street race...should running the d10s all the time on the street be a concern to me? or should i just keep the skinnies for the track?

I believe it is a concern, they are not made for the street. There is a thread going now with some interesting info https://ls1tech.com/forums/drag-raci...ow-speeds.html
