I just cut the A/C belt with a set of dykes, pulled the compressor, condensor, condensor bracket and the reservoire. Came off really easy. It has a designated belt so it doesn't mess with anything else.

This info is for LS1 motors. Disregard belt cutting if you own an LT1 car.

Paul, I think you're nuts to drop AC from a car that is in SC, GA, and FL most of the time. Just add a bigger shot to it!

Anyway....if you just pop the hood and take a look, it's self explanitory for the most part. Once you remove the belt and compressor just follow the lines from compressor. If it is connected to that....you probably don't need it.

If you need any other help, shoot me a PM here, FastGM, or CarolinaHP.

You aren't taking this stuff off because of a certain truck are you?

bwahahahah no, i HOPE you understand half of the potential my car has.....

thanks, i've been wanting to do it for a while... i would like a/c but i have a DD and my a/c hasn't work for a while anyway. at this point i would rather sacrifice the a/c for plugs that are possible to change while at the track. especially when i finally run the second kit.
