Default running without rear sway bar

i was wonder how bad it would be to make a few shake down passes without a rear sway bar or drag bar?

the setup is a th400, 9 inch, qa1 single adj, adj lca's, adj panhard rod, sbc, adj relocated torque arm, built motor, 200 shot, weld's with 325 d/r's....

the car hasn't been to the track on it's current setup and i want to get some shake down passes made but haven't had the time or $$ to put the bar on. would it be ok? or should i wait?

If you hook and pull the wheels at all it'll put you right in the wall.
Not a good idea.

I would at the VERY least run the stock bar. Having no rear swaybar is not going to help anything.....

do you think that would at least be enough so it would be safe? that was the issue i was worried about, and i won't have the cash for a drag bar till next week.

I almost put her in the wall more than once with the stock swaybar making less power than your 200 shot is going to make.
IMO no it's not safe. If your suspension is set up and it it lifts the front so you can't steer you'll be in the wall with that stock piece. JMHO.

Car in my sig has been 136mph with no rear sway bar spinning though.

Weld in bar is going in before it goes to the track hooking.

Get a good bar and do it right.
