Todd,im running a new TCI max effort 4000 in mine with the same 60fts. NA. Kevin and i decided this would be the best of both worlds for the nitrous. Playing with a 75 shot in 3rd gear i picked up .4/5mph with it but every setup is not the same, mine loved the nitrous from what i gained with such a small shot up high.

Off the line im scared to spray it lol. Should dip easily in the 1.30s.

hey bud, yeah i know somethings going on here cause it should react better, i forgot to say also that its not just a nozzle, its a nozzle directed plate. its jet old set up and his car would pick up like a solid 9-10 mph with the same set up, but he was using the 3200 vig. converter. ive got the same vig out of the ta i got from him and thinking of using it when i go back in the tranny. my motor is a torque monster so im not much worried about losing alot down low. if im not careful now it wants to blow the tires. i abort alot of runs cause of it and our shitty track prep on tnt nights. i want to spray toward the 138-140mph mark but its no sense in pilling it up until i find out the problem. and as far as spraying off the line, i cant wait to see what it does, but i cant believe this little 10 hasnt popped! its got all stock gm **** right down to the cover.

Yeah haha i know all about the aborting runs. Seems to have been my problem the last 2 times at the track.

I can't spray the car down low without going towards the wall,so i spray'd it on the topend to make sure it was working and that is where i was refering to the gains with the nitrous. I have not had much time at the track with the new motor and i have made alot of changes to the car since the 10.9s na so im hopeing to pick up quite a bit with the new stuff. My only downfall now is that the car is a heavy pig now (3600 lbs.). You WILL break the 10 bolt again lol. I pulled 5-6 1.45 60fts. out of mine last spring after the motor went in but had to rebuild it becuase the gears were screaming like crazy, how i have a moser 9" with 3.70s and it will take it everytime.

The vig. 3200 should work very well with the nitrous but i can't say it will run in the 1.40 60fts. NA everytime.

Sounds to me like your spinning on out past the tree because the MPH is pretty good compared to only picking up little ET. Maybe it's time for some 28" Drag radials? What is your suspension, tire and gear setup now?

If you're just going to be hitting it w/ a 100 shot I don't think you really need a dedicated nitrous converter. Also what gears are you running?
You may benefit and be able to hit it down low with just a set of taller tires for you nitrous runs.

Yep...exactly. The Vig.3200 would be the better all out nitrous converter but if it were mine i would loosen the converter up more for the motor if he is only spraying no more than a 150 shot.

Todd,i would make sure it's not in your suspension and tire choice before i would start changeing out converters. See if you can get someone to go with you back to the track and watch the car because the TCI 3500 should be able to give you what your wanting on the nitrous. If your spraying the car through first gear the 26" drag radials are not going to hold it and will barely hold from a 2nd gear spray. If you do decide to go with a 28" drag radial throw some 3.73s or 3.90s in it to help with the gearing down low.

i run a stock 6 spd rearend (342s)with an auto. nothing done to it. its been down the track about 100 times and all the passes that dead hook are in the 145-143 range. it has spun to a 1.77 and still run 10.94 @ 125. the car could pull consistent 143-42s if i could worry about stalling instead of spinning. the car has no suspension work @ all except for airbag on pass. side. im going to ditch the 16in drs to put on some 15in 275 60s drs next time out. dont get me wrong in bad air a couple weeks back (3000 DA) it went 10.88 @ 123 w 1.48 60 ft.
