I have one for sale if you are interested. $200 plus shipping. My new trans has an Ultra Bell so I don't need it.

Will this fit a turbo 400 and can you mount it with the trans in the car.

It's molded around the tranny. It won't go in without dropping the tranny. You also need longer bellhousing bolts and might need to do slight clearancing for the bolts.

I have this on my turbo 400 and the fit is good and it sure makes me feel better knowing I am protected.

The only thing about just using an ultrabell is it does not protect you from a drum explosion.

Get it and move on! For what it is worth the one Onfire has is a buy.

The ones they send with it are not for LS blocks so do not use them.

You need 1/2" longer bolts to make up for the thickness of the shield and the metal mounting plate.

That is correct, I took my factory trans bolt with me to the hardware store and bought three grade 8 bolts a 1/2" longer. I used two of the factory bolts for the two bottom bolts on the transmission on each side of the car.
