Default Possibility of hitting 11's?

Ok, I have a question. On a good day and with a little more work, do you think I could hit 11's SI?

Last fall I had a Lid, Shaner ported TB, LS6 intake, Pacesetter LTs, and 2.5" duals with an X and flowmaster single chambers, on the stock tires still, and I ran a 12.85@107.9. The run was basically as good as it could get. I may have gotten a little quicker, but a very high 12.7 would have probably been the best I could have done, if any better. The DA that day was just over 300.

Now, since then I added a Yank SS3600 converter and finally got rid of my stock F1's on the back and put some Nitto 555R's on there. I just went to the track last week and got one run, and ran a 12.54@108.67 with a 1.81 60ft. Now, that was basically the one run I made there at all. It was starting to rain as I made that run, which was great for traction through first gear, and I didn't even hit it until about 10-15mph at least. This was also on a day with the DA about 2200 at the time of that run. So I know for a fact there is a LOT more left in that car. I have no experience with a stall or DR so i did a really bad job I'm sure. I actually got two runs, but the first one I did way too small of a burnout and spun all the way through first to a 1.98 60ft and a 13.06 ET.

So basically by dropping .17 in my 60ft I dropped .511 in my ET. So if I could get another .1 out of it (which I know for a fact I could with that launch I had...) that would mean almost exactly .3 off my ET, which puts me at 12.24.

And if you consider the nasty DA that day too I could get that better easily. lol. Two trips ago the DA was around 2600 I believe, and I had the same mods as my last trip, but ran a 13.1. Then the last time I went the DA was a little over 300, and with the exactly same car I ran a 12.85. So that's .3 just from a better DA. If I dropped that much i would be in the 11's already without even doing anything else to the car.

Then of course there's always a new rear end and slicks, and suspension I can do. And then maybe an UD pulley and a 90/90 combo for the intake if I'm still not there.

What do you think? If it's a real possibility then i might consider putting the cam off and actually going for that goal. I like setting goals and going for them rather than just making it faster than it used to be with no goal.

What's cool for me is that this car is almost full weight too. I've taken out the spare/jack, and the air/egr systems and thats it .

I'd say low 12's are possible, but without a 1.5X 60 foot time the mph won't support a high 11 second pass IMHO.

What is a very high 11 usually for mph? I would think on a day with a better DA I would be in the 109's somewhere.

Most 11s are in the 111-113 mph range unless you gear the car for the 1/4 mile.

114 or 115 even, if your not in the 1.5x 60 foot... i dont think your gunna make it especially without full boltons. I think you might see 1.75 60 foots. I have the same verter, and im cammed, geared, 3375 raceweight and drag tires, and im at a 1.64 in some seriously good weather.

Well what would you call 'full' bolt ons other than the underdrive pulley?

And I didn't say doing other stuff was out of the question, because it's definitely not. I just wondered if I could make it there SI, and was saying there could be a LOT of improvement on my 12.5 without changing anything.

How much ET are 3.73's worth if you already have 3.23s and the SS3600 in there?
