relocated battery keeps dying

relocated battery keeps dying I have a gel battery in the back of my camaro...1/0 supply, 2 ga from alt, 2/0 ground etc. Battery is in aluminum box with rubber mat on bottom.
Every few weeks the f-n battery dies. Whats the deal? when i had this in the front, never had a problem.
Thoughts?

I had a problem with my alternator not charging properly when I relocated mine.
I think it's due to the increased resistance of the longer cables.
I got an adjustable voltage regulator and it fixed the problem. I think I saw one in Summit.
