Default strip newbie

Me and some friends went to the strip the other night, ive never raced at a track of any kind, and ive only raced from a dig a couple times since ive owned my f-bodys...i didnt end up racing that night...i dont know y, i just got nervous...im not to great at launching without spinning like crazy seeing as how 98% of my races are from a roll...plus im worried about breaking stuff mostly...im worried about snappin the rear-end, i doubt i have enough power to do so but these rear-ends are pretty weak from what i hear so that was in the back of my mind the whole time...i cant afford to break anything financially...so my ? is what are the odds i will break if i do race at the track? also im on shitty street tires

The odds of breaking the rear with a stock auto car are pretty low (but not completely out of the question).

You've said that you can't afford to break anything financially - then don't race - ever

Sooner or later, you'll have to pay to play

I have a rather expensive BBC on the floor of my garage right now that trashed the cam.

Next motor will cost me about 10k for the motor alone not including a more built tranny to handle it or a glide and the fuel system.

If you don't want to break something then dont race. In my last car I hurt stuff just roll racing or from moding.

A local buddy just trashed his 10 bolt with 3.42's on the street with NITTO's (crapy drag radial), he is only runing mid 13's. Anything can happen.

If you can't afford to fix what breaks, you probably need to stick to Supra Racing. If not, be prepared for the car to sit.
