What throttle cable are you using?
What throttle cable are you using? I discovered my throttle cable was slipping or pulling out of the Cruise/TC box and not allowing my TB to open fully. What cable are you using to race? I just ordered a Non TC car cable from the dealer. This goes from the pedal to the TB i beleive. Is this true, any other mods needed to do this and get rid of the cruise box? Thanks

It popped off the metal bracket in a time trial a couple months ago. Zip tied that sucker back to the bracket. Works like a charm.
Before I zip tied it, it would move ap and down the bracket and affect throttle position.

I'm using the one that goes from the pedal to the TB only, and have had no problems with it. Just rip all the other crap off and install it, pretty strait foreward install. Kind of a pita to pop the old one out, but doable with the dash and all in the car.
Thanks for the reply, I just installed the new cable in about 15 minutes. I will take your advice and tie wrap the bracket to make sure it does not move. I don't need any more idle problems or throttle problems. I did not know if the TC Would throw a code with it disconnected. It looks ok, i will remove the box and cabling. I did notice that my TB plate now goes past 100 percent. I will have to put something on the stop i guess. I read this can be bad also.
