Default traction help!!!

I have a feeling everyone is going to point my issues to the tires I am using and if that is the case then sweet, its an easy fix, but I dont want to blow the money on a set of tires and be back at the same point I am now.

I am basically running a H/C 347 with a 4000 stall BFG 275 DR's and 3.42 gears.
On motor I launch the car about 3000 or so the car hooks solid goes real straight no issues to speak of really other than a wicked slow 60 foot.

Then come back around and attempt to run nitrous on the car(100 hp at crank) and it goes up in smoke right at the line, pedalling it is useless thru first and sometimes it will even spin the tires in 2nd gear.

Only suspension mods are QA1 drag fronts, Energy suspension bushings and mounts.

Now I feel my 60 foot times blow on motor, i am terribly disappointed with them, high 1.9's on a good pass, but I account that to the low TQ numbers it makes on motor. with the stock motor and the same nitrous jetting it was hooking on E/T Streets with the same suspension and 1.6 consistent 60 foots. I have videos of both motor and nitrous if you think they will help.

so the question is do I need suspenstion in the rear or another set of E/T streets?

What are these bushings and mounts for? Do you still have the front sway bar attached? Are the front shocks adjustable? I didn't hear any mention of an adjustable TA or an aftermarket set of LCA's. I would probably start there. You could also throw a set of CE drag shocks on the rear, they're pretty cheap.

Energy suspension tranny mount, tq arm mount, stock LCA's, Stock TA, still has front and rear sway bars with energy suspension bushings and endlinks. Standard KYB rear shocks with stock rear springs, KYB AGX's in the front with the QA1 Drag springs.

IMO, the bare minimum to effectively tune your suspension is gonna be subframe connectors, aftermarket torque arm, LCA's, adjustable shocks up front and either a drag rear swaybar or at least a right rear airbag.

so you guys feel it is suspension at this point and not the tires? I've tried running every where from 28 PSI to 18 PSI in the DR's but no noticible change in traction. I just equated it to the DRs because I always ran ET Streets prviously and never had traction issues. but it could just be that I have erached the limmits of the stock suspension...

These tires have hooked much faster cars than yours. So I would have to say yes...it's suspension.
