well, couldnt stand the wait any longer. went to the track to see what the TNT would do. Ran twice on motor, with 60's bein 2.3 and 2.14 and that run was a 13.48 @ 105. then came the nitrous runs on a 75 shot:

SO im guessin some real good practice at launching and some tires. this was runnin on 245-16 Falkens. hopefully i will have a converter and some BFG DRs by the time cool weather gets here. id say it was around 80-85 degrees tonight. weighed the car in at 3590 with me in it and 1/2 tank gas. and when the 100 came on in 1st at 3800 it started spinnin to 2nd then itd hook. ran a 03 vette stock and we were even till lil before the 1/8th then id just walk away. all in all it was a blast, havent been out to run since last nov. and they ahve a street plaque contest for quickest car some S-10 won with a 9.12 @146. dont know what all he had but he was sprayin a hefty dose.

 

Ditto to what you said, tires and pratice. Arent falkens road race tires, get a good drag radial on that thing.

 

13.0 @ 116mph? That's mph for low 12's, maybe high 11's with the right 60' and suspension mods. Your car sure if making power. You need to find a way to put it to the ground. You should be happy with your mph.

 

well seein how i have a stock 'verter and sorry street tires, the 60' aint gonna get too low. im lookin into a converter or th350 swap, not sure which. was lookin into goin with one from TCS since they got a GP goin.
