Default How much does weater effect ET and MPH?

Just wondering if the weather at 2 degrees warmer and 22% more humidity and .15 less Baro could make you lose a tenth or 2 and 1-2 mph?Just wondering ,I am trying to tune my car but the weather will not cooperate

You're welcome. Lemme expound a little.

2 degrees of ambient temperature is not alot but it counts. The 22% of humidity is nothing to sneeze at and the .15 of pressure certainly isn't either. None of these factors is these small amounts are major killers of power in themselves...but add 'em all up and there's some noticable power lost.

The biggest thing about weather is temperature because it can change soooooo drastically. You might run at 95 degrees in the summer and 35 in the winter. Now THAT will totally change the performance of your car! Barometric pressure is the next biggest killer of power (still a MAJOR factor!) and then a distant third is humidity.

DA=density altitude.

First you figure out your density altitude here:
