Default 28" tire question

Gonna be heading to the track soon and threw on some 28" DR's on the back and didn't realize what a huge difference they are. I usually have 26". Is it okay to use a 28" in the rear and 26" upfront or is this something that isn't suggested? Might seem a dumb question but thought I would rather ask and sound dumb than prove it by running an improper set up that isn't safe. IMO I think it is fine but let me know. Thanks!

We've been running 26's up front and 28's in back since 1999.

When the ABS and brake lights come on, don't be alarmed

I've gone by my 'thumb' rule. If I can get my thumb in between the cold tire and the body I have enough room for tire growth. You have a TA right? Post up what tire/wheel combo you are going to do, and we can tell you where you need to clearance. Bogarts are different from Pro Stars.

They are 15 x 10 bogarts with M/T 325/50/15's. I didn't think tire growth was a concern with the radials? I will post some pics of the clearance later.

You never know. His rear end might not be centered ALWAYS a good Idea to check. Some thing could be off.

I had mine out on the 325s tonite no issues. Then again MADMAN helped get it started that way

I have 325's on Bogarts on my Form and it has occasionally rubbed, I think the body is coming down a lot more than I expected, I think I have the rear qa1's at 7/7.
