proper way to prep slicks

What are a few things you guys do to prep slicks for the track, vht spray on or just drive on them?? Just looking for some more stickem power for better times

If the times in your sig are current, you shouldn't need to do anything.

The track temps are creating most of your traction issues, but I've seen really good improvements using trackbite tire treatment if the tires are older and hardening.

HRP and HMP are in poor shape these days if it helps any. You are not alone hotrod.

Mount & go. As said, as they get old, then coating may help.

Yes that is the current time the truck ran in 75 degree weather spinning out of the hole, I would love to grab one good time in great weather ahaha, the slicks are about 2 years old but have about half the thread life if you call it that.

thanks for the help, where can you buy the sticky stuff to put on tires?
