Default [Drag radials]255/50/16 M/T vs 315/35/17 BFG

Im considering switching out my 315/35/17 bfg drag radials in favor of some narrower and lighter 255/50/16 m/t et street radials. My concern is the amount of stick I'll lose. Right now I typically get low 1.8s out of my BFGs with a best of a higher 1.7. Thoughts?

I've gone 1.60's on a 255 MT, I think they're probably the stickiest DR by far.

I'll put it to you this way, if you're an M6 on a stock rear with any kind of launch, you can kiss that 10-bolt goodbye.

Those things are like Velcro.
