Track Temp and how it effects hooking We learned first hand yesterday that when track temps get over 140 degrees it makes it very tricky to get a racecar down the track. What have you guys found for track temps and whats optimal?

I think most would say 90-110 maybe 115 is good conditions. I've seen hit or miss at 120 and above. As mentioned, 140-plus is a total crapshoot.

If the weather holds for us we will be racing today. I am going to bring an infared temp guage and log track and tire temp on different cars. The last race we ran the track temp was about 130 and we lost traction about 100 yard out.
We made a TQ arm adjustment and a travel limiter adjustment for today. Last weekend we had 168 degree track temps.
