Default about to goto the track for the first time with this setup

just need some pointers and suggestions

my car is a 408 l92 setup , my t56 is stock besides the ram hd clutch, i just installed a umi body mounted torque arm and strange 9in setup that has 3.90 gears, aluminum driveshaft. i also have a set of mt slicks on light weight drag wheels and skinnys for the front. i got a set of QA1's coil overs with 1 adjustable **** on them

is a rear sway bar very important for a good launch? the guy i got the rear from did have one and was pullin some 1.6 60fts with his

what should the QA1's be adjusted to on the track?
what should my pinoin angle be at?
tire pressure?
what should a i launch at rpm wise?
any guess on my et?
exhuast will i run faster with open headers or full exhaust?
u have a linelock, generally how long should i do a burnout for?

i had true duals but the body mounted torque arm got in the way so i might be going to a temp 3in Y for the track

If you plan to launch hard then yes you will more than likely need a good anti roll bar on the rear. I can't tell you what to put the shocks on, but somewhere between 2-5 would be close for the front. Maybe start at 5 and work your way down.. The rear shocks will work best around 4-6 clicks probably. You just have to play with that kind of stuff to see what it likes best and that goes for the rpms you launch at also. Tire pressure is also something you will have to play with but I'd start at 20psi and go down from there until it works. You might pick up some time by tossing the exhaust due to the weight difference and a little bit of a hp difference, but I wouldn't fool with that. With that combo you should definitely be in the low 11's or high 10's on motor if you can leave good and drive it right.

It just depends.. If the car will hook up then you can leave at 5 or 6k rpms if you want to. Sometimes, especially with a drag radial/6 spd combo you might have to rev it high and slip the clutch a little bit to keep from shocking the tires so hard. Just go play with it and then report back with what it did.
