Re: Lightweight carpet...
Get the cheap stuff from Lowes or Home Depot, cut it out to match the stock/factory carpet and save your self around $200. That's my plan, some of the members here have done this already.

I just install the stuff from http://www.yearone.com/. It was ~$240 shipped. Fit isn't bad, much better than other stuff I've seen. Did I mention that it only weighs 14lbs, compared to 34lbs stock stuff Also covers up the seat brackets for a cleaner look. I'm getting ready to install a roll bar, so I was looking to claim as much weight back as possible

I was curious how much the 'passenger area only' from speedinc covers as well. Since the factory carpet is one piece all the way back to the t-top well I assume you have to cut it?
You can get that stuff that they use to cover subwoofer boxes at pep boys cheap too, cant get any lighter then that stuff

The Home Depot carpet sucks! I've used both the Home Depot carpet and currently have the Speed Inc. carpet installed. Night and day difference! Go with the Speed Inc. carpet. It's premolded and fits all the contours of the car. The Home Depot carpet doesn't.

Strips of speaker cover will look nice until you start driving the car... Mine is all coming up from my heels... I used spray adhesive too.
Does the YearOne stuff come premolded?
