Fire Surpression systems, mounting nozzles

Mine is not a F-body. Basic info only. I have 2 bottles. I recommend (might be overkill) 1 on each header, back of intake,
front of intake, fuel cell. 2nd bottle, between legs and control area. (MSD box, relays, solenoids ect.)
Getting close Phil?? Good luck.
.
halon isn't SFI approved anymore...should have FE-36 system.

Since I am probably one of the few here that have been on fire. My thinking is I don't care where it starts.
I can hold my breath a long *** time if fire get's in there. 2 bottles, 2 triggers, only use **** pit system if I have to.
I have one car each, front cell & rear cell. If you crash & the rear cell breaks or splashes all over the battery,
then what. My 2 cents, nozzles & T-fittings are cheap. Good luck.

I can care less about the car, all I want is my *** out of there and trying to slow down a burning car is no fun. As far as halon its still being sold, most cars dont require a fire system so you can put whatever you want in there unless its specified to be SFI. Halon is still the most effective for putting out fires, problem is its right up there with r12 for ozone depletion.
