Cam only: 12.101 @ 116.81 on Nittos with new clutch!
First off let me say that this new spec stage 3 ceramic clutch rocks. This car has never shifted so good. In fact, the first of my two runs I left some mph on the table because I was so timid of power shifting fourth because with the old z06 clutch it was hit or miss.
All runs were at a 3590 raceweight (removed ac, winsheild wiper fluid resevoire, air pump, and some other miscelaneous crap since my 3660 weight).
First run resulted in
60: 2.005
330: 5.309
1/8: 8.016 @ 90.33mph
1000: 10.344
1/4: 12.293 @ 115.84
Second runs (stuck fourth good)
60: 1.914
330: 5.202
1/8: 7.875 @ 91.94 mph
1000: 10.171
1/4: 12.101 @ 116.86
So close to 11s.
Man, those nittos don't hook half bad when you can do a good second gear burnout and heat them up nice. I ran them with 16pounds on the second run and then actually bogged the car out (that was a first) launching at 2800 rpm. Car did wheel hop. Maybe a torque arm will fix that as all other rear suspension components have been replaced (except for shocks and springs). I'm conviinced that if I stuck around I might have busted 11s on the nittos. I really did not want to wait almost 5 hours to run again though (superchevy event). Time for real tires in a month or so

nice runs, good tires help
I was the same way before the spec stage 3 clutch, 2-3 and 3-4 powershifting was pretty hit and miss with the z06 clutch - no problem now.
et street vs BFGs (3mb)
here is a video of my car with 10.5/15 ET streets leaving at 5500 and a friend of mine next to me with 255/16 BFGs leaving at 2500. I have a 3.90 and he has a 3.73. He cut a 2.06 60' and I was 1.725 on that pass. I ran a 12.13 to his 12.55 (he redlighted and I slept pretty bad so I didnt catch him at the end). Both of us ran 113.9mph. Remember bristol on a 90 degree 100% humidity day with a headwind is not one of the fastest tracks on earth Both cars have the exact same heads, cam, etc and dyno within a couple HP/TQ of each other and weigh about the same. My hooker catback is slightly louder then the other car's dual dual though. Them tires really do help, I'm sure you know that but its always a good time to post a video

Great times. Once you try out some ET streets, you'll never go back to the wheel hoppin DRs. I finally bolted some up and it was amazing how smooth and hard the car launched. Its weird to just be able to hold the revs up and let the clutch out without worrying about wheelspin. Now I just need a 12 bolt...My 10 bolt only lasted 3 runs LOL.
