Mickey Thompson Drag Radial Back Order. I'm sure many people know right now that there is or was a nation wide back order on most if not all ET Sreet Radial size tires.
I spoke to one of the Mickey Thompson guys this weekend at the NMCA/NMRA Superbowl and found out why this is.
Apparently, Mickey Thompson decided to move their Radial manufacturing plant to a new location. Just after getting everything moved and set up DOT specs were changed and MT had to change their equipment to conform to the new DOT specs.
MT is now back up and manufacturing radials again. It will just take some time for everyone to receive and rebuild their stock on the tires.
The 255/50-16 drag radials are currently in production and they are shipping them out as fast as they produce them.
The MT rep I spoke to said there are some odd sizes that are not in production yet. I dunno know what sizes they are cause I was more concerned with the size I need, 255/50-16.

Talked to a shop today on the 255/50 /16 and same story few weeks to get them. I was kinda shocked at the price also of 188 apiece. Dont think i payed no where near that last sept for the ones i got now. Figure it must be the fuel prices
I have 275s 325s and 315s in stock. The 16 and 17" stuff is coming.
