Which style safety harness should I get for my car. The car should run 8.50 in the 1/4 when its all done. I am just trying to figure out which style and brand are considered among the best/most comfortable.
I can mount the harness to my roll bar or the floor... which is better?
Also should a get a V style harness or just a standard sperate strap harness!?
Thanks guys

to the cage is definitely without a doubt the best spot for one its stronger and 2 if you get into a crash where u stop very suddenly if the belts are mounted to the floor there at a big angle so its gonna pull you down compressing your spine. but when its on the bars right behind you a little below shoulder height that wont hurt nothin. and the difference between styles there both good it really just depends on preference and style of seats i like the v style myself but thats just me. if you have any more ?'s just ask. -tony-

Check your local IHRA harness laws and requirements regarding your intended speed in the 1/4. This list is long to pass inspection. Don't get a cam button type. Yes they look nice but failure within the button cannot be seen. Get the tried and proven latch lever. You'll always know it's good.

.
Floor style is illegal, has been a couple of years. I like the V mounts.
I don't mind the separate belt style, IF you have anti slide mount.
