Default 28x10.5x15S et drag

I'm running the 28x10.5x15S et drag on a 8inch rim 5.5 backspacing with tubes and the tires are rubbing any one have the problem. Will a 10 inch rim 7.5 bs help.

YES!!!! It will also hook better. You may need a 1/4 inch spacer and cut the bump stop.

I had the same problem when I first put on my 28s. But with adjustable LCAs you can make a little adjustment to make it work.

I trimmed the rear bumper cover where it wraps around inside by the bottom, cut off so the outside profile wasn't changed, just the inside lip is gone.

Bottom of the front there's a little tri-angle, I cut that out too, and the lower inner front fenderwell will need a littl beating. Took about an hour per side to get them to clear.

Camaro's are easier because the metal in the front isn't as close to the tire, and is only a single thickness for a good portion, transam is different.

I'd lose the tubes too, and get the tires on a 10 inch wide rim so they're not such a bubble

I had no issues with mine. Just trimmed the bump stops. I also have 7.5 bs
