OC or US41?
OC or US41? Im in South Bend, Indiana at school and am planning on racing this friday night. I heard OC isn't such a great track....can anybody verify this? If its that bad then I'm going to trailer my car to US41...

Re: OC or US41? May also want to cross post this on www.mfba.org, but I like US41. I drove by Osceola once and it looks pretty trashy. Of course the trailer parks that are on each side did influence my opinion. I heard it hooks though.

LOL! he said OC hooks..... thats funny. 41 doesnt hook too well either, but its worlds above OC, doesnt have the crappy tech inspector, and you wait in the staging lanes a 1/10 of the amount of time you do at OC. if you go to OC friday evening though youll meet quite a few local f-body guys, and i might be there just to hang out with some of the guys whose cars i work on. my buddy with a 10 sec 6 speed stock shortblock black TA like yours should be there. his is the car on the cover of Hi Performance Pontiac this month. went 10.6 last weekend with NO weight reduction

Re: OC or US41? sounds good man. i really want to run this weekend but if OC is going to be crappy about tech (I dont have a blow down tube and a few other things), then i might just have to hang out or just go all the way to US41. ive only gotten one pass on this thing this summer (10.8 @ 128) and want to get out before i start doing suspension mods (ive also fixed my nitrous since then too)

XFiveLiter-how is US 41? Does is hook well...
Saturday and Sunday will be better than a Wednesday or Friday. On days they run brackets they spend more time on prep.
