I'm about to head out to SAR (San Antonio Raceway) and the DA is currently 3470' Definitely not expecting any new bests tonight

 

Seen 3100 at a track that's at 80' elevation

 

Try near 7000' at 2710' elevation. Best DA at this track I have encountered has been 1805'.

 

Normal summer DA here is 4,800', last weekend 5,200'; best I've seen here is 1800' (early spring and late fall - only thing is that our track closes for the year the last of September)

I'm glad I have to race in Phoenix, even if it is hot. DA in my town right now is 8,659'. Actual elevation is 7,000.

Bristol Tennessee on a 90 degree 90% humidity day with a 28.8 barometer - 5600' DA. To add insult to injury the track runs 1% uphill Its like driving up a mountain in that weather..

 

Bristol Dragway, back in 2000, was like 5000 DA I slowed from 11.75 down to 12.4...

Heh, I ran a 12.13 @ 114 on the 5600' day at bristol a couple weeks ago, got one pass in before the monsoon that seems to happen every time I go there started I sure miss US41 and the cold weather, even though the -1700DA at steele last november was pretty cool

 

Isnt there a website that lists weather conditions at certain times on certain dates??

id like to see what it was last night when i was racing. It sure was sticky.

 

www.wunderground.com put the zip in and there is a box for historical data.

 

3900 at 900 actual elevation. Can't wait for some 0 DA days!!!

saves a step if you just use this, the DA comes out pretty close using this + it does the altitude correction for ET/MPH also

 

On july 4th the da was over 10,ooo feet. We race at 5,600 feet. I think everyone was off by half a second

 

8500' at Bandimere which is physically at 5800'

 

worst i ran at was a DA of almost 4000' at tulsa internation raceway. track is at about 700'. still went 11.99 @ 115

 

Gainesville raceway is about 150' above sea level. Had one day in January where we started at -950' and only got to +135' by 2 p.m. Summer is typically 2500-3500 feet and I think we came close to 4000' one day last month with all the rain and humidity; like driving through pea soup!
