Re: What's the worst DA you've seen on a track day? I'm glad I have to race in Phoenix, even if it is hot. DA in my town right now is 8,659'. Actual elevation is 7,000.

Bristol Dragway, back in 2000, was like 5000 DA I slowed from 11.75 down to 12.4...
I sure miss US41 and the cold weather, even though the -1700DA at steele last november was pretty cool

Re: What's the worst DA you've seen on a track day? On july 4th the da was over 10,ooo feet. We race at 5,600 feet. I think everyone was off by half a second

Had one day in January where we started at -950' and only got to +135' by 2 p.m. Summer is typically 2500-3500 feet and I think we came close to 4000' one day last month with all the rain and humidity; like driving through pea soup!
