Patching Drag Radials

Has anyone had success with this or should I just buy a new drag radial? I purchased these drag radials from a local guy and when I had them mounted and balanced one of the radials has a hole in it. They plugged it without asking me. Is it possible to remove the plug and patch it from the inside and be care free to do some runs at the track?

I'd patch it from the inside. I've done this on a few sets of slicks as well as seen it done on drag radials. Works better IMHO than a plug than could come loose.

I think u are best off patching it from the inside asap as these guys have stated.
I dont think u would run into a tire problem as long as you aren't planning big MPH for the radials. Judgin by your sig u should be just fine. Good luck
