Electric wires removal?
I tried the search but did not find anything help full.
Thanks Bob
Trace every wire twice before you cut. It takes me about 4 hours to go through the interior harness and I have done several.
Just trying to figure what can go.
Thanks Bob

Remove all unwanted stuff (heat, etc)
As you unplug things, mark them with a tag
Once dash and all unwanted stuff is out, remove all wire loom/tape that you can
fins all plugs for unwanted stuff. Cut off plug, snake wires out of harness as far as you can. Continue with this until there is no remaining wires left that went to an uneeded item.
reloom/tape up what is left, put back in place, reassemble.
I wish there was a better way to describe it, but that's what needs to be done.
I dunno if a wiring diagram would really even do ya any good. This winter I'm gonan cut ever inch of wire out of my car, (except the engine harness which may go as well if I come up with the $ for a BS3 because that has it's own engine harness) and just rewire it for the stuff that I need for a race car. At this point, all I really need is the brake lights, the headlight flaps and the headlights, and the window motors. I think that the entire body control computer can go away completely, especially with the BS3 If I can do it the way I want, the dash is gonna have 2 switch panels, and the rollcage might get one too if I need more switches then I can fit on the dash where the radio and hvac plates are (one already has a moroso switch panel on it) I won't need the rollbar one too.
The key's are probably just gonna unlock doors and the hatch, I'll probably have the fuel pumps, ign, all on switches, and a puchbutton for the starter. Just seems like a better way to have it, no need for all the other crap, no need for running lights, turn signals, defroster, any of that.

I was hoping someone had a write-up on the process. I was just being lazy.
Today I got out the GM manuals and started with one accessory at a time.
Took out 6 LBS and I have most of the wires still in the car. I bet there is at least 25 LBS altogether.
You got the right idea, remove all wire and rewire.
Thanks, Bob
Damn door bars need to come out too while the panels are off.
Hopefully, with any luck doing that along with the suspension will get it to 3200 (car's 3330 now)
