Default Is it going to 60ft.?

Ok, i just installed the Hoosier DRs. (255-50-16s) & tested them out tonight, not at the track, but in my warehouse parking lot lol, now the tires i took off were Cooper Zions 255-40-17s, they are only 24.4" tall, the hoosiers are 26.4" tall, it killed of some gearing, but at a 3200 rpm drop it dead hooked, then it bogged out some & slowly recovered, what i mean is it didn't have a quick bogg & then launch hard like i thought it would with 4.11s, it didn't start pulling untill 2K or so, then it took off, i know its because the car is hooking now & its makeing the engine lay over, but is this thing going to 60ft. well, like 1.8s, it just doesn't feel like it will, is it because i just launched at 3200 instead of say 5K or more, i'm really glad i didn't go with a taller tire like i thought i needed , it would have been a real pig from a dig. So will it feel better at a higher RPM launch or is it still going to bogg out like that? I was thinking after it bogged, it would take off It runs very good (no missing or anything), from about 20-25 mph its gone, i do have the fuel pressure up to 54 psi WOT, maybe its too much.

Sounds like its just getting to much traction and bogging the motor. Take it up to about 4-5K. If you have a solid drivetrain I would take it even higher till it doesn't hook.

It almost feels like it needs a shot of something now lol, the drivetrain is fairly solid, it has a new 3" steel shaft & solid joints-BMR T-Arm, i'm thinking its 10.+ gauge steel thickness on the shaft, i do have the LCAs in the middle hole, so is this what i need it to do "not hook", i was told by several it should easiely go 1.8 60fts., i'll try a higher launch & see what happens, i guess like before, i just need some seat time.

you need to go to the track and just try it out .... 3000 is way to low if you have a 9 in rear and 4.11's! try droping you air to 19 lbs and come out at 4000-4500 and give it a quick realese on your clutch dont dump it or ride it ......somewhere in the middle that should be a good starting point
