auto tranny question I read where some have their shift point rpm a little lower going into 3 and 4.
Mine are all set at 6500 right now with a rev limiter setting at 7000. My cam makes peak power at 6300rpm. I was hitting the rev limiter going into 3rd and 4th when my limiter was set at 6800 at that time. I also had not deleted torque/engine management ? abuse mode ? It is now deleted. I also bumped up line pressure to 96psi. Have not ran it yet to see what kind of difference these changes made. Also will it affect my trap speed and et in the 1/4 mile ?

Um !! fluid look like new. Shifts fine on the street and it has 26,000 miles with about 20 passes at the strip. I was thinking I probably just did not have enough distance between the shift point of 6500 and the limiter set at 6800 when it hit.
It could be just shift points, but you dont want to be chasing down a problem, find out whats going on in the first place and you wont have to worry about it, im not saying your 3-4 is gone, but its not like its not uncommon. The 3-4 clutchpacks are very weak
