Help with 60'(Shock settings, tire pressure..)
I have a heavy pig, 3860. I am running stock front tires, and rear 15x10-bogarts with 26x10 et drags m5 compound (no tubes or screws). The tire pressure was at 15psi. I couldnt cut another low 1.6 the rest of the day.
Do i need a long burnout? Lower pressure slightly?
I have adjustable QA1's in back and adjustable AGX in front, they are both at lowest (loosest setting) is this how they should be set up?
I hooked with about a 125 shot out of the hole, any advice?
1. Mark the tire and the rim in an area you'll remember (I do mine by the valve stem with tire chalk or you can use show polish) so you can make a pass and then check it to see if the tire has moved before you drill / screw the rims. If they don't move or only move a tiny bit, I'd not drill them b/c of then having to run tubes (extra weight) / possible leaks.
2. If you are hooking at 15 psi, don't drop the tire pressure! All that will do is create more rolling resistance and possibly make the car unstable at the top end due to less pressure and the sidewall flexing more. You always want to run the most pressure you can without spinning or wearing out the center of your tires.

I would leave the psi right where you have it, you really don't want it any lower-especially with that heavy of a car. Mark the rims to see if they are spinning and screw them if you have to.
Until you get more power in her or lighten her up a bit I think you're set up pretty good-
Nice Job!
