Either way you should invest in one. U-joint failure happens a lot and a flopping driveshaft can do a lot of damage. It's cheap insurance.

Beat the crap out of the tunnel and exhaust. Not good at all.
Lucky it didn't wedge against the ground and damage the rear end.

Loop not required running Hoosier QTP's. He said any DOT tire doesn't require the loop (until of course the 11.49 mark).
I have a loop on it anyways...
That would be awesome around where I live if the "local" track wasn't an 1hr. away.
