It depends largely on your track but it should hook it just fine.
A true slick should hook just a little better than a street/slick.

Gimme your expected trap speed. What RPM do you want to spin your engine to?
Go with the ET Drags unless you want to drive them on the street. Even then, I'd rather have the Drags for the track and some drag radials for the street.
BTW, what converter are you using?

To caluculate your best gear I need a rough idea of what kind of trap speed we're talking about. Are you sure you can only turn your engine 6000 RPM? Something doesn't sound right.
