Default What's the best drag radial for a 18X9.5 rim?

Yeah I know about the search button lol. I currently have chrome 18x10.5 z06 rims with 50mm offset out back with KDW 295/35's. I found two new chrome z06 rims 18x9.5's with 53mm offset for 375 shipped. Thought it might be cheaper to get those and put either a 275 or 285 street drag radial out back instead of buying a 295/305 18inch tire and having to switch out tires. I'm looking to put a good street/strip tire on the car for fun on the street and on the track. I don't drive it everyday just a toy so not worried about mileage. What di you guys suggest? I don't have a 12 bolt yet so need something that gives a lil. Also are some tires a smaller size than others when it comes to drag radials? I remember something about a few brands were like that. Thanks for any help guys and gals. Happy racing!!

Good luck hookin up with those. You should use the money to buy some welds and slicks.

I agree, Good Luck. I had a set of 18 x 9.5 with BFGoodrich drag radials and the only thing it was good for was burnouts. I ended up switching to a 15" with ET Streets.
