Time to start modding... Well, I have been driving my Trans am for about 8 months now, and it is time to start modding now that I have money.
I bought the car with some mods
acesetter LT, ORY, Slow masters(getting replaced), SLP LID, Biger MAF(not sure what), a tune of some sort, and that is all that I know of.
So, I plan on going to the dragstrip alot in the future, but also drive my car daily, I was wondering what would be a good list of mods? I would like to be doing low 12's, but without loosing much daily drivalbility.
I was looking into a small head&cam setup with a good stall and gears. I am just wondering what mods in these lines would get my goal, and how much daily drivability would I lose? Another thing, how much cash am I looking at????

No I don't have any slips. I am going to the track next week. Bad thing, it is only an 8th mile track.
I have the stock chrome wheels with street radials. I'm guessing I am going to slicks of some sort to hook up beter. Maby just drop air pressure in my tires. I will see next week.
Well, I guess I underestimated my car if you say some can do low 12's with a converter and a tune. What would I do with the mods I was talking of in the original post...a small heads and cam, some gears +converter?

make sure that you invest in some suspension parts aswell to help get some of the power to the ground. a torque arm, lower control arms, subframe connectors and panhard bar would be a real nice addition to your power mods. since you drive the car daily i would recommend single adjustable one poly end and one rod end lcas and panhard bar or if you dont mind some road noise then double adjustable rod ends.
